OBITUARY - HAROLD MONTGOMERY QUICK

Harold M. QUICK, 77, of Mount Ayr, formerly of Redding, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Redding Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff SOUTH will officiate the service. Open visitation with family receiving friends will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa and American Lung Association.

Mr. QUICK, son of Fern A. (JARVIS) and Carl M. QUICK, was born October 3, 1927, in Redding. He graduated from Redding High School in 1945. On June 17, 1948, he married June WETTER in Boscobel, Wis. On August 7, 1988, he married Karen GRAHAM in Mount Ayr. He was a farmer and employed as an inspector with the Iowa Department of Agriculture.

He was a past member of The Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Karen Quick of Lineville; daughter Debra QUICK (husband Jim TULL) of Redding; son-in-law Mike LYNCH of Redding; brother Kenneth (wife Berta) QUICK of Redding; two stepsons, Mike (wife Kathy) GRAHAM of Lineville and Mark GRAHAM of Alberta, Canada; two granddaughters, Amanda LYNCH of Cedar Rapids and Mollie LYNCH of Chicago, Ill.; great-granddaughter Haylee LYNCH of Cedar Rapids and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, son Donnie QUICK and daughter Connie LYNCH.

NOTE: Interment was at Redding Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.
