BRENT PRIEST

Brent PRIEST, 42, of Tingley, formerly of Mount Ayr and Creston, died June 13, 2006 at his home in Tingley.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2006, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Brian OLIVER and the Rev. Edward SHIELDS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Tingley Cemetery. Open Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Greater Regional Medical Center chemotherapy laboratory in Creston or Judge LEWIS Park in Mount Ayr.

Mr. PRIEST, son of Bonnie S. (McHENRY) and William C. "Bill" PRIEST, was born June 25, 1963, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. He graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1981 and from the meat cutting department at Morningside College in Sioux City. On June 3, 1983, he married Karen L. STROUP and they later divorced. He worked as a meat marketing manager for Hy-Vee Food Stores in Lamoni and Creston. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Mount Ayr Golf Club.

He is survived by his two sons, Bradley and Philip PRIEST, both of Creston; mother Bonnie (husband Gerry) YOUNG of Tingley; father Bill (wife Janna) PRIEST of Decatur; brother Douglas (wife Keri) PRIEST of Princeton, Mo.; sister Billi OGLEVIE of Columbia, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Alex and Brook OGLEVIE, and Christopher and Fallon PRIEST.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Rubye and John McHENRY and paternal grandparents Elton and Frances PRIEST.
