The Mount Ayr Record-News, 1930

OBITUARY - MRS. D. L. ONSTOT.

Amelia CASS, daughter of John and Elizabeth CASS, was born April 4th, 1854, in Cathan Argenteuil county, Province of Quebec, Canada, and passed away on October 24th, 1930, in Beaconsfield, Iowa, at the age of 76 years, six months and 20 days.

On October 2, 1923, she was united in marriage to D. L. ONSTOT in St. Mungos Church, Cathan, Province of Quebec, Canada, and came to Beaconsfield, Iowa, on October 14, 1923.

When a child she united with the Presbyterian church at St. Mungos, Cathan, Province Quebec, Canada.

She leaves to mourn her going her husband and family, two brothers living, John CASS of Julesburg, Colorado, and Johiel CASS of the old home in Cathan Province of Quebec, Canada, and one sister, who lives in Max, North Dakota, besides other relatives and a host of friends. The whole community is very sad. We will all miss her very much.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. James WILKINS, after which interment was made in the Kellerton [Maple Row] cemetery.
