OBITUARY - ZELPHA ELLAMORE SMITH OGIER.

Zelpha Ellamore SMITH was born April 24, 1864, at Saxton, Ill., and died at Grant Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, February 26, 1922, at four-thirty p.m., aged fifty-seven years, ten months and three days.

She was married to Henry Sanford OGIER September 8, 1886, at Mount Ayr, Iowa. To this union was born one son, William Earl OGIER. She united with the Methodist church when but a small girl and remained a faithful member till death. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one son, four grandchildren, Clyde Melvin OGIER, William Everett OGIER, Hazel Marie OGIER, Ethelena OGIER, three sisters and one brother and a host of friends. Mrs. H. S. OGIER was called to Ohio by two relatives who were sick. She was stricken several days after arriving at the home of her sister. She was not able to write home to her husband and family. She was taken to Grant hospital, Columbus, Ohio, where she died. She had been a great sufferer and was near death's door at three different times, but bore it all very patiently.

NOTE: Zelpha was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa. Henry Sanford OGIER was born in 1858, and died in 1928 and was interred at Maple Row Cemetery. William E. OGIER was born in 1889 and died in 1958 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery.
