OBITUARY - MRS. BEN L. OGDEN.

Mrs. Kathryn OGDEN, wife of Ben L. OGDEN, passed away at her home in St. Charles, Iowa, Tuesday, July 26th.

Mrs. OGDEN, before her marriage, was Miss Kathryn WHITE of East Liverpool, Ohio. She was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania, but removed to East Liverpool early in life where she resided until 1910 when she removed to Montana. She was married to Ben L. OGDEN March 18, 1915, at Scobey, Mont. The family returned to Iowa in 1920 where they have since made their home.

Mrs. OGDEN leaves her husband, Ben OGDEN, a son George and daughter Mildred. She is survived also by her mother, Mrs. T. A. TORRANCE, one brother, Ralph WHITE of East Liverpool, O., and three sisters, Mrs. Albert SHAW of Chester, West Va., Mrs. Raymond BEARD, of Steubenville, O[hio]., and Mrs. Ralph CHAMBERS of Beaver, Pa.

The body was brought to Mount Ayr Thursday and funeral services were held at the home of Mr. OGDEN's aunt, Mrs. G. A. SLENTZ, being conducted by Rev. W. L. THORNBURG, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, and interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

NOTE: Kathryn (WHITE) OGDEN was the daughter of John and Elizabeth WHITE.
Ben L. OGDEN, husband of Kathryn (WHITE), was born in 1888, and died in 1941 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. George S., son of Kathryn (WHITE) and Ben L. OGDEN, was born in 1918, and died on July 16, 1976 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
