OBITUARY ~ BEVERLY JEAN "BEV" MOORE
December 12, 1946 ~ November 15, 2013

Beverly Jean MOORE, daughter of Jack Edgar and Vera Florence (AUSTIN) MOORE, was born December 12, 1946 in Creston, Iowa. Bev's twin sister, Barbara Jane, died at birth. Bev was born with Cerebral Palsy and had other physical burdens but she did not let them hinder her. She attended Mount Ayr schools and was able to walk until 16. While still a teenager, Bev was baptized into the family of God. Bev will be known for making lots and lots of pillows; many which are now keepsake heirlooms. Bev lived at home until she was 36 and she moved into the Mount Ayr Health Care Center where the staff and residents became close to her. Bev always had a smile and was known for her cheerful disposition. The simpliest things made her happy such as visits by her nieces and nephews and holding a baby. Bev's family was very important to her and she looked forward to family gatherings and holidays. For Bev, the future held plans to see her nieces and nephews, and the next generation after that, be born and grow up. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to country music.

Bev passed away on November 15, 2013 with her family by her side.
