OBITUARY ~ IVAN EDWARD MOLER

Ivan Edward Moler was born at Grant City, Missouri to Elmer and Mary Roach Moler on August 20, 1926. His home has been the Taylor County Care Facility since August 1951. Before that he was a resident of the Glenwood School in Glenwood, Iowa, since he was 9 years old.

Ivan was baptized in 1974 at the Gravity Christian Church. This meant so much to him. He never missed a chance to attend church and take part in the bell choir. He loved having visitors, going out shopping and eating, school and Cubs baseball; but above all he loved family.

Ivan was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, two brothers; Lloyd Francis Moler and Bennie Lee Moler and a sister Freida Woollums.

He is survived by his brother Charles Martin Moler of Dixon, Missouri, half-sister Edith Nieman of St. James, Missouri, sister-in-law Lucille Moler of Mediapolis, Iowa and brothers-in-law Marvin Woollums of Mount Ayr, Iowa and Charles Nieman of St. James, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who Ivan was very proud of.

Funeral services were held at Wilson-Watson Funeral Home, Mount Ayr, Iowa, Monday March 15, at 2:00 o'clock p.m. Ivan was laid to rest at Redding Cemetery, Redding, Iowa.
