OBITUARY ~ 1st Lt. FRANK JOSEPH LONETTI (Ret.)

1st Lt. Frank Joseph LONETTI was born July 25, 1936 in Vintondale, Pennsylvania to Jean and Frank LONETTI. He was the youngest of five children and is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph, Dominick and Rick, and sister, Virginia (Dolly).

In 1954 he began his career with the United States Marine Corps where he served two tours in Vietnam and was commissioned as an officer.

He retired in 1978 and moved to Flagstaff, Arizona with his four boys, Keven, Steven, Frank and Rich where he managed the Roller Palace and attended Northern Arizona University.

In 1981 Frank married Marcia JONES LONETTI of Redding, Iowa. In 1987 their daughter, Trenae, was born.

Frank went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Veterans Day, November 11, 2012. He died peacefully in his sleep at their home in Anthem, Arizona of cardiac arrest. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

This hero, husband and father will be greatly missed.
