OBITUARY ~ MARCIA LETT, CRESTON

Marcia (PARKER) LETT, 50, of Creston, died July 17, 1999, at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. July __ at Ritchie Funeral Home, 604 W. Adams Street. The Rev. Merlin WILKINS will officiate with burial in the Rising Sun Cemetery near Diagonal. There is open visitation after 1 p.m. today with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Ritchie Funeral Home in Creston. A memorial has been established in her name. The Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home of Diagonal has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. LETT was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Diagonal to Archibald and Ruby E. (FRAZIER) PARKER. She graduated from Diagonal High School in 1967. On Aug. 19, 1974, she married Leonard LETT. She had worked for Casey's General Store and was manager of the Crestmoor Golf Club. She grew up in Diagonal, and lived at Orient, Lamoni, Stanberry, Mo., and Creston.

Survivors include a son, James R. LETT of Creston; and two brothers, Kenneth (wife Sharon) PARKER of Humboldt and Calvin (wife Tena) PARKER of Coon Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nadine; and a brother, Alvin.
