OBITUARY - REGINALD "REX" MOSIER

Rex (Reginald) MOSIER was born on a farm near Mount Ayr, Iowa, March 1, 1914, and died July 10, 1987, in Denver, Colorado. He was the son of Ike and Cora (LESAN) MOSIER.

Soon after the death of his mother he went to Denver, Colorado to live with his brother, Dick, who was boarding with their aunt, Jennie LESAN.

In 1935, he was married to Billie (BERRYHILL) MOSIER. Three children were born to this union: Clifford "Ronald", Cynthia, and Rick.

He worked for Macklem Bakery, cooked as a chef and built his own home by 1945. Then he went into building houses and remodeling, until retirement.

One of his favorite activites was elk hunting, which he began in 1946. He has organized and led the camp for 40 years.

He and Billie loved to travel and have been to every continent. His dream was to walk on the great "China Wall," and he finally did in 1982.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George and Charles, and one sister, Robinette "Bobbie" MARION.

He is survived by his wife, Billie; two sons, Cliff and Rick and one daughter, Cynthia; also, 11 granchildren and three great-granchildren; two brothers, Vern of Deming, N.M. and Dick of Denver, Colo.; and one sister, Edna SICKELS of Mount Ayr, Iowa.

Services were held at the Chapel of the Angels in Denver, Colo, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
