OBITUARY - FREDERICK FRANKLIN MORSE

Fredrick Franklin MORSE, son of Benjamin Franklin and Lucy C. STUCK MORSE, was born Nov. 18, 1891, on a farm in Ringgold county. He died in the Wayne County Hospital July 20 [1975], at the age of 83 years, eight months and 2 days.

On Dec. 24, 1914, he was united in marriage to Estella Lucille ANDERSON. To this union four children were born, Eldon Arthur of Corydon, Junior Fredrick, deceased, Franklin Richard of Phillips, Neb., and Thelma Lucille, deceased.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers, Guy and William, and one sister, Mrs. Jim (Ella) LUTZ.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law, Ilo and Larena, one granddaughter, one grandson, one grandson-in-law, one granddaughter-in-law, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Milo, one sister, Mrs. Frank (France) MILLER, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He grew up on the farm and was engaged in farming. In 1930 he moved to Wayne county and farmed until 1935 when he moved to Humeston and started general trucking which he continued until the summer of1972 when he sold his truck and went into full retirement.
