"Beyond It All"
Beyond the element of time,
Beyond this veil of tears,
I look to One who never fails. . .
The God of all the years!

He reaches out His hand to me,
And though the path's obscure,
The very touch of His dear hand
Makes every footstep sure.

He points me to His promises
When faith grows strangely dim
And 'neath His canopy of love
My soul is lost . . .in Him!

I know not how the days may run,
Many or few they be,
But God knows every step I take
On to eternity.

And, one day face to face I'll see
The God of all the years. . .
Beyond the element of time,
Beyond this veil of tears!
~ Georgia B. ADAMS

Denied new trials

New trials for Ronald and Harold TODD, convicted in 1981 of the murder of Alberta MICKAEL of Mount Ayr, were denied by the Iowa Court of Appeals last week. The men, convicted in August 1981 of second degree murder and first degree robbery in the death of their aunt, Alberta MICKAEL of Mount Ayr, in a Madison county trial, had argued that their rights were violated when the jury in the case was given revised instructions.
