OBITUARY - LOUISE (DAVIS) MEADOWS
Louise MEADOWS, 92, of Mount Ayr, formerly of Kellerton, died May 29, 2005, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the United Methodist Church in Kellerton. The Rev. Rick HAWKINS will
officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. There is open visitation with the family
receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials
may be directed to the United Methodist Church in Kellerton.
Mrs. MEADOWS, daughter of Etta Pearl (GRAY) and Alvin Roy
DAVIS, was born July 10, 1912, in Kellerton. She graduated from Kellerton High School in 1928. On January 19, 1930, she
married Weldon MEADOWS in Kellerton. She was a homemaker, town clerk and treasurer. She was a member of the United
Methodist Church in Kellerton.
Survivors include a son, Donald (wife Virginia) MEADOWS of Des Moines; two daughters,
Janice (husband Skip) FARLEY of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Ann (husband Ken) DUNSHEE of Glen Burnie, Md.; sister-in-law
Pearl DAVIS of Bella Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Roland MEADOWS; great-granddaughter Sarah and brother Royce DAVIS.
