OBITUARY - MILDRED E. (SHELDON) HOOVER MAGGIO

Mildred E. MAGGIO, 80, of Tonawanda, New York, died December 30, 1989, at her home of a heart ailment.

Mrs. MAGGIO, formerly Mildred SHELDON, was born in Ellston, Iowa, and attended Mount Ayr High School. She worked for Bankers Life in Des Moines, Iowa, before moving to Buffalo, New York, where she worked for many years as a traffic maanger for television station WBEN.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine JEFFERYS of Buffalo, New York; three grandchildren, Lawrence JEFFERYS of Tonawanda, New York, Lynn JEFFERYS of Val Verde, California and Leslie OCCHIUTO of Williamsville, New York; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine DENGLE of Des Moines, Iowa, Dorothy CATTERSON of Johnston, Iowa and Doris OLNEY of Urbandale, Iowa; six brothers, Howard SHELDON of Prairie City, Iowa, Marion SHELDON of El Segundo, California, Luther SHELDON of San Angelo, Texas, Gerald SHELDON of Des Moines, Eugene SHELDON of Tucson, Arizona and Lyndon SHELDON of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mildred was preceded in death by hre first husband, Charles HOOVER and her second husband, Eugene MAGGIO; her parents, Glen and Mollie SHELDON; two brothers, Arthur and Wendell SHELDON.

Services were held January 3, 1990 at the Greco Funeral Home in Kenmore, New York. Interment was in the Arcia Park Resthaven Cemetery at Buffalo, New York.
