OBITUARY - WILLIAM RILEY LYNCH
William Riley LYNCH was born May 11, 1919, at Irena of Worth County, Missouri. He graduated from Worth High School in
Worth, MO in 1934 and then moved with his parents to a farm near Redding. He married LaVetta Ilene OVERMAN in 1944 [May 8th] and
they became the parents of 4 children.
His career was farming, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He believed in conserving
the land for future generations. He loved the outdoors and in his later years he would drive his 4-wheeler around
checking on crops and livestock. A favorite gathering was when he was surrounded by his large, loving family. In
addition he was an active member of the Redding United Methodist Church.
William had been having heart problems. He passed from this life on
January 12, 1998.
was preceded in death by infant twin sisters 2 infant grandsons.
He left behind his loving wife LaVetta and sons
Michael Douglas LYNCH, and William Joseph LYNCH of Redding, daughters Patricia Louise LYNCH MAUDLIN of Redding,
Pamela Jo LYNCH GLENN of Kansas City, MO and his brother Homer LYNCH of Boulder, CO.
Interment was in Redding Cemetery.
