OBITUARY - WILLIAM ELLIS "BILL" LYNCH, Jr.

William Ellis LYNCH, Jr. passed away April 10, 2003 in St. Joseph, Missouri from injuries he sustained in an accident. He was the son of William Ellis LYNCH Sr. and Dorothy Madeline FULLER LYNCH [born April 05, 1930].

Bill served with honor in the US Army during WWII before getting married to Marian TOLOG EZZEL on October 27, 1965.

Like his Dad and older brother, he was a self-employed truck driver which he successfully expanded to include several trucks and drivers. His business was located in Grant City, MO.

He lived and went to school in Redding, IA until the family moved to CO. They later moved back to Redding, IA, Grant City, MO, and Albany, MO. The open road was his home away from home and like many other drivers he was a friend to everyone he met. If he came across a stranded motorist, he always stopped to offer help and always anxious to get home to his large, loving family.

His Dad William Ellis LYNCH, brother, Kenneth LaVelle LYNCH and step-son Daniel EZZELL preceded him in death.

Surviving is his loving wife and partner, Marian, Julie LYNCH MACE, Joni LYNCH JAMES, Rebecca LYNCH NEWTON, Dorothy LYNCH THOMPSON, David LYNCH, Curtis LYNCH, step-daughter Kimberly EZZELL PAGE.

Interment was in Redding Cemetery, Redding, Iowa.

Transciption by Sharon R. Becker, February of 2010
