RUTH LORIMOR DIES - Ohio

Ruth ROGERS LORIMOR, 88, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 16, 1988, in Bethany Village Nursing Home in Dayton. She was a former resident of Mount Ayr.

She was born April 11, 1900 in Ringgold County, the daughter of George and Leona (McCLANAHEN/McCLANCHEN) ROGERS. On Sept. 3, 1925, she married Harold K. LORIMOR. She lived in Ringgold County all her life until seven years ago when she moved to Dayton to be near her two daughters and their families.

She was a teacher, pianist, Sunday School teacher, and Bible Study teacher in Ringgold County and Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1971; her daughter, Mary Louise HILL in 1987, her parents, two brothers, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. LORIMOR is survived by a son, H. K. and wife, Shirley LORIMOR of Creston; a daughter, Vivian and husband, Ralph RIGG of Dayton; a son-in-law, Curt HILL of Dayton; a sister-in-law, Edna LORIMOR of Waukee; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mt. Ayr with the Rev. Doris HANSON officiating. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr.

Memorials may be directed to the Presbyterian Church in Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - RUTH LORIMOR, Dayton, Ohio

MOUNT AYR - Services for Ruth ROGERS LORIMOR, 88, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Mount Ayr were 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr.

The Rev. Doris HANSON officiated with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr. Music was provided by Mrs. Roger MORRISON and John ALLEN.

Pallbearers were Bob ANDREWS, Jim BURDETTE, Ivan BENNETT, Roger MORRISON, Delbert JACKSON and Pat SCHWIENEBART.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray STILL, Dean FROST, Lynn GEHRKE, Bob McCREARY, GLen GARDNER, Keith LININGER and Harold GOLLIDAY.

Mrs. LORIMOR was born April 11, 1900, in Ringgold County, and died April 16, 1988, in the Bethany Village Nursing home in Dayton, Ohio.

Survivors includes a son, a daughter, and a son-in-law.
