IN MEMORIAM - TED LIPPOLD
Theodore Louis "Ted" LIPPOLD was born August 8, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Alfred & Lucille (O’CONNER) LIPPOLD. Ted graduated
from a Catholic high school in Chicago. He was raised in and belonged to the Catholic Church. Ted went to graduate with a
bachelor’s degree from college in River Falls, Wisconsin.
When Ted moved to Iowa, he first lived in Searsboro; then other communities, including Ellston, before moving to Lamoni
10 years ago. On June 1, 1996, Ted married Donna BUNNELL in Oskaloosa, IA. Ted worked 15 years at Group Dekko/Heat Tech
Ted worked with horses and loved all animals. He loved to be around his family including his grandchildren and step
grandchildren. Ted had a kind spirit about himself and will be missed his family and friends. Ted passed away at his
home near Lamoni on April 18, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard.
Survivors include his wife Donna of Lamoni; his children Genny SEIBEL of Pierre, South Dakota and John MURI of St. Paul,
MN; four step-sons Tim & wife Kim HOL of Oskaloosa, IA, Terry & wife Lisa HOL of Sigourney, IA, Tony & wife Janine HOL of
New Sharon, IA, and Tom & wife Angie HOL of Osceola, IA; four grandchildren Michaela, Richard, Christopher, and Beverly
Ann SEIBEL; eleven step-grandchildren Adam, Matthew, Colin, Kaylee, Cameron, Kayla, Cole, Steven, Kirby, Jon, and Austin;
other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Wilson-Watson & Armstrong
Home, Mount Ayr, Iowa, with Pastor Kathy JOHNSTON officiating.
Musical selections were "God Only Cries For
The Living," "I'll Go to My Grave Loving You" and "The Dance."
Honorary pallbears were John MURI, Tim HOL, Terry HOL,
Tony HOL and Tom HOL.
Ted was laid to rest in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
