OBITUARY - CHAD JOHN LARSON, Clearfield
CLEARFIELD - Chad John LARSON, 16, of Clearfield died Saturday morning, March 11, 1989, at his home south of Clearfield.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday
at the First Christian Church, Clearfield
The Revs. Shirley LOCKARD and John ZEITLER will officate with burial in Clearfield Cemetery.
A family night will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Clearfield.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Mr. LARSON was born Oct. 2, 1971, in Corning to Gregory and Jeanie (NELSON) LARSON. He lived two years in
Sharpsburg and the last 14 years south of Clearfield. He was a sophomore at Lenox High School and a member of
the baseball team. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Clearfield and Farrell's Tae Kwon Do in Creston.
Survivors include his parents, Gregory and Jeanie LARSON of Clearfield; a brother, Brandon and a sister, Angie, both
at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil LARSON and Mrs. and Mrs. Paul NELSON of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs.
Hank GARNER of Bedford; and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jim LARSON of Clearfield.

OBITUARY ~ CHAD JOHN LARSON
Funeral services for Chad Larson were held Tuesday, March 14, 1989 at the
First Christian Church in Clearfield with Rev. Shirley Lockard and Fr. John
Zeitler officiating. Interment was at Clearfield Cemetery, Clearfield, Iowa.
Chad John Larson was born October 2, 1972 at Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa,
the eldest son of Gregory John and Jeanie Darlene Nelson Larson. He passed
away at his home seven miles southwest of Clearfield, Iowa on March 11, 1989
at the age of 16 years, five months and nine days.
Chad was a sophomore, Clearfield student attending the Lenox Community High
School at Lenox, Ia. He was a member of the Clearfield Christian Church and
the Farrell's Tae-Kwon-Do Club of Creston. Chad was a great outdoorsman. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, raising livestock, taxidermy, bowling,
football, baseball, and rock music!
Chad is survived by his father Greg, his mother Jeanie, his sister Angie, and
his brother Brandon, also grandparents Phil and Alberta Larson, Paul and JoAnn
Nelson, all of Clearfield, and Hank and Caroline Garner of Bedford; great
grandparents James P. and Jackie Larson of Clearfield.
Also left to mourn his passing are uncles, aunts and cousins Lewis, Martha,
Will, Robby, and Shaun Larson of Clearfield; Janice, Glee, Wyatt, Elaine,
Melanie Mobley of Benton; Judy, Steve, Scott, Shannon, Ryan, Shawn Sandahl of
West Des Moines; Jim, Carolyn,Dana, Danny Nelson; and Ken, Kathy, Jennifer,
LaDanya and Ashley Nelson, all of Clearfield; as well as many other relatives
Chad was a very loving and caring person. He always had a smile for everyone
and showed concern for his friends and family. There will always be a special
place for Chad in all our hearts.
