OBITUARY - FRANK H. LAIRD.

Frank Herbert LAIRD was born December 11, 1860, at Athens, Ohio, and departed this life June 3, 1932, at his home southwest of Kellerton at the age of 71 years, five months and 23 days.

He came with his parents to Iowa in 1865 and has resided in Ringgold county ever since.

He was married to Mrs. Emma GILES on December 6, 1894, who survives him, also one brother and several nieces and nephews, also two children, Mr. John BROONER and Mrs. Elsie BROONER PEARCE, who were left motherless in infancy and taken into their home and cared for until their own homes were established.

He was a member of the Salem Evangelical church for many years. while he was quiet and unassuming he won the respect of his neighbors and friends and all with whom he came in contact by his everyday life.

The funeral was conducted from the Salem church Sunday, June 5, by T. S. RHOADES. Burial at the Tedrow cemetery [near Kellerton].
