NOTICE of DEATH - DONALD KEITH "PINKY" LAIR

Donald "Pinky" LAIR, 73, of Kellerton died January 1, 2006, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - DONALD "PINKY" LAIR

Donald "Pinky" LAIR, 73, of Kellerton died January 1, 2006, at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Rick HAWKINS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. There will be open visitation after 3 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. A memorial has been established in his name.

Mr. LAIR, son of Mildred Beatrice (SHANNON) and Guy Franklin LAIR, was born September 4, 1932, in Kellerton. On December 11, 1954, he married Helen M. PAYTON in Mount Ayr. He was a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Helen LAIR of Kellerton; two daughters, LaDonna (husband Doug) PRIME and Kristina (husband Larry) NAIL, all of Kellerton; and a grandchild, Dreu THOMAS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings, Alice WICKER, Kenneth LAIR, Louise OGIER, Shirley STEPHENS, Gerald LAIR, Herman "Gene" LAIR and Beverly SPRIGGS; and brother-in-law Rex PAYTON.
