OBITUARY ~ GLEN D. KONOPASEK
March 16, 1954 ~ July 14, 2013

Glen D. KONOPASEK, 59, of Marshalltown, Iowa, formerly of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Fountain West Nursing Home in West Des Moines, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, Iowa. The Main St. Chapel of the Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com.

Glen was born March 16, 1954 to Doyle and Joan (GRANNAMAN) KONOPASEK in Leon, Iowa. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served his country during Vietnam. Glen was a custodian for Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, retiring in 2009.

Glen will be missed by two daughters, Bridgett KONOPASEK (Nathan SARGISSON) of Des Moines, Iowa and Brandie KONOPASEK of Los Angeles, California; a son, Bronson KONOPASEK (Natasha WILSON) of Clarion, Iowa; his mother, Joan KONOPASEK of Kellerton, Iowa; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Linda (David) DUNN of Red Oak, Iowa, Jeannie (Marvin) HULTQUIST of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, and Betty GAGE (Leroy Lee) of Ottowa, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle.

[Interment was made at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa.]
