OBITUARY ~ FRANCES (ALLEN) KLECKNER

Frances Allen Kleckner of the Lamoni Manor, Lamoni, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 1993, at the age of 89 years.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Nov. 25, 1904. She married Hulbert Ray Kleckner at Clearfield and he preceded her in death. To this union was born 10 children, five who preceded her in death; Flossie Mae Reid, James Marion, Orville Eugene, Genevra Arlene Jessup, and Gayle Rae Beede.

Surviving children are Donna Mary Beckett of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Frances Anne Moffitt of Galesburg, Ill.; Franklin Ivan of Rantoul, Ill.; Dora Lee Fisher of Lamoni; and William Earl of Creston. Other survivors include 19 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister Gladys Smith of Ottawa, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America. She was also a member of the Christian Church in Clearfield and for the past 12 years she attended church at the Church of Christ in Lamoni until her health prevented attendance.

The family greeted friends from 3-6 p.m. on Dec. 28, 1993, at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mt. Ayr. At her request, her body was cremated and she was buried in Bethel Cemetery southwest of Diagonal.
