OBITUARY ~ ERMA CAROL (WESTLAKE) JONES

Erma Carol JONES, 94, of Bethany, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010.

She was born January 7, 1916 in Washington Center, Missouri, the daughter of Aaron and Mary Margaret (SMITH) WESTLAKE.

On Jaunary 23, 1934, she married Cecil R. JONES in Bethany, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2000.

Erma was a very active member of the Pleasant Ridge Church and later became a very active member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Curtis, Willard, Chester, Clifford, Wernis and Francis WESTLAKE, and sisters, Zelphia EDSON, Mary JONES, Beulah LIPPINCOTT and Ocie and Carrie WESTLAKE.

Survivors include her three sons, Jerry of Lee's Summet, Missouri, Cecil Jr. of Lawson, Missouri and Carroll JONES of Princeton, Missouri; daughter, Kay CAREY of Mount Ayr, Iowa; brother, Robert WESTLAKE of Wichita, Kansas; special niece, Neoma WILCOXON of Ridgeway, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Robertson Funeral Home, Bethany, Missouri with burial in the Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, Missouri. Memorials can be made to the Miriam Cemtery in care of Robertson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424. Online condolences may be left at 222.rbersonfuneralhome.com.
