OBITUARY ~ LINDA KAY HIGDAY
June 25, 1942 ~ June 03, 2017

Linda Kay Higday was born to Carroll Linden and Jennie June (Mackey) Higday on June 25, 1942 in Kellerton, IA. She passed away at Clearview Home in Clearfield Iowa after a short illness on June 3, 2017.

Linda graduated from Kellerton High School in 1960. After graduation she went to work for the Ringgold County Attorney, Arlyn Hughes, as a secretary while still living at home. Linda Kay moved to Des Moines and held various jobs retiring in 2004.

Linda Kay moved to Clearfield to be close to family. She then moved to the Iowana Hotel in Creston for a short time before returning to Clearfield.

Linda Kay loved going to the library where she enjoyed putting puzzles together with Markeeta and Suzanne. She looked forward to their lunches and visiting. She enjoyed her many new friends at Clearview and especially the girls that took such good care of her.

Linda Kay was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Jeannette Ann; sisters Rose Mary Leonard, Betty Jean Fugate and Caryll Lou Campbell; brothers Gerald Higday and Max Higday; sisters and brothers-in-law.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Jack Higday from Clinton TN and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Submission by Ken Baker, per approval of Jack, June 13, 2017
