OBITUARY - DAVID ROLANDES KUDER.

David Rolandes KUDER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson KUDER, was born in the state of Ohio, May 11, 1849, and died in the hospital at Creston July 10, 1927, aged 78 years, one month and 29 days. He was united in marriage May 28, 1874 to Crissie Anne WESTLAKE. To this union eleven children were born. On February 29, 1896, Ida May was called home. On January 25, 1925, Millie departed this life. The remaining children survive the father: Crate, Jack, [Crissie] Anne, Margaret, Burr, Ina, Ella, George and Helen. On November 26, 1913, death entered the home once more and called his companion from him. On March 3, 1921, he was again united in marriage to Mary CAREY. To this union one child was born, Ivyl. He has lived on his farm south of Kellerton practically all of his married life. He leaves to mourn his departure his companion, five brothers, one sister, ten children, twenty-one grandchildren. One grandchild, Myron Lemae MILLSAP, preceded her grandfather in death.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday morning at ten-thirty and burial in Maple Row cemetery [Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa].

NOTE: Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE), first wife of David Rolandes KUDER, was born on August 13, 1855, and died on November 26, 1913, with interment at Maple Row Cemetery.

Helen (KUDER) MILLSAP, daughter of David Rolandes and Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE) KUDER, was born in 1902, and died in 1969. Helen was the wife of U. "Lee" MILLSAP (1898-1966). Myron LeMae MILLSAP, daughter of U. "Lee" and Helen (KUDER), was born on November 13, 1919, and died on August 20, 1926. They were interred at Maple Row Cemetery.

Ida Mae, daughter of David Rolandes and Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE) KUDER, died at the age of 4 years and 6 days on February 29, 1896 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery. Her sister Mildred "Millie" (KUDER) BULLARD, daughter of David Rolandes and Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE) KUDER, was born in 1886, and died in 1922 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery.

Crissie Ann (KUDER) KNIGHT, daughter of David Rolandes and Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE) KUDER, was born on August 20, 1877, and died in 1931 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery.

D. Craton, son of David Rolandes and Crissie Anne (WESTLAKE) KUDER, was born in 1882, married Althea B. MUSSELMAN (1882-1953), and died in 1928 with interment at Hopeville Cemetery, Hopeville, Clarke County, Iowa.
