OBITUARY - IVAN "EVERETT" KIMBALL

Everett KIMBALL, 63, of Creston died December 6, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 10, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Matthew NOVOTNY will officiate the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. There is open visitation after noon today with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. A memorial has been established in his name.

Mr. KIMBALL, son of Goldie (SHIELDS) and Lawrence KIMBALL, was born October 30, 1941, in Mount Ayr. In 1962, he married Connie GREGG and divorced in 1977. He worked at Fansteel/Wellman Dynamics from 1979 to 1989 and recently at Wal-Mart in Creston.

Survivors include four children, Kevin (wife Anita) KIMBALL of Underwood, Rick (wife Donna) KIMBALL of Palmyra, Neb., and Dana KIMBALL and Jennifer KIMBALL, both of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren, Quinton, Jolynn, Tyler, Ashley and Jake (wife Cassie) KIMBALL; two great-grandchildren, Karah and Ashton KIMBALL; and a special friend, Pat OLIVER of Creston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother Velma KIMBALL.
