OBITUARY - DOUGLAS KENDALL, Tucson, Ariz.

MOUNT AYR - Douglas KENDALL, 24, of Tucson, Ariz., died Sunday morning, Aug 29, 1988, in Tucson in a motorcycle accident.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Tingley United Methodist Church. The Rev. William COTTON will officiate with burial in the Leon Cemetery [Decatur County, Iowa]. A family night will be 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home here [Mount Ayr]. A memorial has been established in his name.

Mr. KENDALL was born Feb. 18, 1964 at New Hampton to Rev. Jack and Marie (LUCE) KENDALL of Tingley. He graduated from New Hampton High School in 1982 and was active in the school music department. He attended Simpson College for two years. He appeared in the Des Moines Community Playhouse and was a member of the Des Moines Municipal Opera. He moved to Arizona in January 1987 as mamager of the Payless Shoe Store. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Hampton.

Survivors include his parents, Rev. Jack and Marie KENDALL of Tingley; a brother, Dennis (wife Dianna) KENDALL of Green Bay, Wis.; two sisters, Jacque (Mrs. Dave) GABLE of Denver, Colo. and Julie (Mrs. Robert) KETTELSEN of Martelle; and two grandmothers, Eula KENDALL of Osceola and Carrie LUCE of Leon.
