OBITUARY - FRED KELLEY.

Fred KELLEY was born November 28, 1888, in Middle Fork township, Ringgold county, Iowa. He passed away Saturday, March 26, 1932, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert KELLEY, in Mount Ayr, Iowa.

On June 2, 1915, he was united in marriage to Mary F. CLAYTON and since that time they have resided on their farm in Lotts Creek township. To this union was born one son, Albert Lyle.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife Nary, his son Lyle, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert KELLEY; one sister, Elsie; and two brothers, Lee and William, all of whom were with him at the time of his death.

In the early years of his life he alliliated with the Methodist church of Fry Chapel at which place he maintained his membership.

He has been in failing heath for the past six months, and on February 13, he underwent an operation at the Methodist hospital at Des Moines, Iowa. During his illness he has had the best of medical care and all that kind and loving hands could do has been done.

Besides his immediate family he leaves to mourn his death a host of relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all of his neighbors in the community in which he resided.

A funeral was held at the Rhoades Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by T. S. RHOADES, assisted by Rev. E. S. MENOHER, and burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

We take this means of expressing to our neighbors and friends our heart-felt tanks for kindness and sympathy generously bestowed during the illness and on the occasion of the death and funeral of our loved one. -- Mrs. Mary KELLEY and Lyle, Mr. and Mrs. A. KELLEY and Elsie, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. KELLEY, Mr. and Mrs. Lee KELLEY and family.

NOTE: Mary Frances (CLAYTON), wife of Fred KELLEY, was born in 1894, and died in 1971. Fred's father, Albert KELLEY, was born in 1856, and died in 1934. Albert Lyle, son of Fred and Mary Frances (CLAYTON) KELLEY, was born on November 20, 1917, and died on December 12, 1944. All interments at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
