GOOD CITIZEN CALLED BY DEATH.

Frank M. JORDAN, a prominent and highly respected citizen of Middle Fork township, passed away at his home Sunday night at 11 o'clock following a paralytic stroke suffered about seven o'clock that evening. The funeral services will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at eleven o'clock from the Eureka church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Jay KIRKENDALL, and interment will be in the Middle Fork cemetery.

Mr. JORDAN was well known throughout the southwestern part of the county, having been engaged several years ago in county bridge work; he also for years ran a threshing outfit and thus gained a wide acquaintance. In recent years he has given his entire attention to farming.

Mr. JORDAN was known as a man of strict honesty and his influence was always exerted for good in the community where he has lived for many years. He numbered his friends by his acquaintances. Mr. JORDAN was about sixty-eight years of age.

NOTE: Francis "Frank" Marion JORDAN was born on May 8, 1856, and died on May 20, 1923.

Rosetta Alice (RUSH), wife of Francis "Frank" Marion JORDAN, was born in Indiana on June 3, 1859, and died in Ringgold County, Iowa, on September 17, 1895, with interment at Middle Fork Cemetery.

Francis Marion, Jr., son of Francis Marion and Rosetta Alice (RUSH) JORDAN was born in 1880 and died in infancy, 1880, with interment at Middle Fork Cemetery.

Amy Leona, daughter of Francis Marion and Rosetta Alice (RUSH) JORDAN, was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, on February 12, 1880, and died on March 4, 1886, interment at Middle Fork Cemetery.
