The Mount Ayr Record-News, 1933

OBITUARY - MARY LOIS JEANES.

Mary Lois JEANES, daughter of J. E. and Etta JEANES, was born February 1, 1904, south of Clearfield, Iowa, and departed this life June 23, 1933, south of Mount Ayr, aged 29 years, four months and 22 days.

She spent nearly her whole life in Ringgold county. At the age of 16 years she united with the Methodist church at Blockton, Iowa. She was always a true and faithful believer in her Savior.

Mary was a kind and loving daughter and sister. Her short life was one of unselfishness and her greatest pleasure was in helping others.

To mourn her death are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. JEANES, of Mount Ayr, and their family; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd JEANS (sic), of Redding, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Paul GREELEY, of Gravity, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Harland FREEMAN, of Blockton, Iowa; Margaret, Robert, Donald, Evelyn and Louise, who are at home; a nephew and niece, Bobby and Dorothy JEANES, of Redding, Iowa; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert JEANES, of Clearfield, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the home Sunday at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. W. H. WARRIOR, of Blockton. The body was laid to rest in the Clearfield cemetery.

CARD OF THANKS.

We take this means of expressing to our neighbors and friends our sincere and heart-felt thanks for their kindness and sympathy on the occasion of the death of our loved one.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. JEANES and family.
