At the age of twelve he moved with his parents to Illinois, living in that state unil 1854, when they came to Ringgold county, arriving here in June. Mr. IMUS was a faithful member of the Methodist church, having joined in 1858. His sickness was of short duration, and he passed peacefully away on the morning of June 3d. The funeral was conducted Monday at 1 o'clock p.m. from Middle Fork M.E. chapel by his pastor, Rev. W. C.
