"Brother Max" Elliott HOOVER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart HOOVER, was born on January 16, 1916, in Delphos, Iowa, where he resided until his death on March 15, 1926.
"Brother Max" was recognized as a leader by his many playmates. He was ambitious, truthworthy, friendly and faithful. He was loyal to his Sunday school, having attended the
Christian Sunday school in Delphos for over a year without missing.
He leaves to mourn his death, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs.
Stuart W. HOOVER, of Delphos, Iowa, a sister, Louise, and a brother, Glen, both of Delphos, Iowa; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. HOOVER, of Delphos, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs.
H. E. BATES, of Des Moines, Iowa, and a glorious host of relatives and friends, for "Brother Max" was a friend to everyone he met.
