The Mount Ayr Record-News, 1925

OBITUARY - MRS. A. B. HERRON.

Victoria Selina CAMPBELL was born at Bloomington, Indiana, October 29, 1863, and died at the St. Joseph hospital in St. Joseph, Mo., November 26, 1925, aged 62 years and 23 days. She was married to Andrew Buchanan HERRON September 26, 1885. They resided on a farm in Liberty Township most of their married life, moving to Tingley some years ago. In early life she united with the U. P. church at Mount Ayr. The body arrived from St. Joseph Thursday afteroon and funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Tingley U.P. church, conducted by Rev. W. L. THORNBURG, pastor of the Mount Ayr U. P. church, and interment was made in Rose Hill cemtery at Mount Ayr. She leaves to mourn, her husband, one brother, L. D. CAMPBELL of Berryville, Ark.; three sisters, Mesdames Ella BROWNLEE of Berley, Calif., J. R. KENNEDY of Garnett, Kan., and J. P. SHERMAN of Canton, Ill.; a nephew, Lloyd CAMPBELL, who was raised in the home, other nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
