OBITUARY - GUSTAV HEINISCH.

Gustave.jpg Gustav HEINISCH, son of Gustav and Margaret [(DENZLER)] HEINISCH, was born June 19, 1869 [Wapakoneta, Ohio], and passed away August 8, 1930, aged 61 years, one month and 20 days [at Kellerton]. On July 25, 1899, he was united in marriage to Josephine JAGGER [at Mount Ayr]. To this union was born seven children, Gustav of Chicago., Ill.; Franc C. of Omaha, Neb.; Kermit of Portland, Ore.; Howard of Kellerton, Iowa; Herbert, who passed on sixteen years ago; and two daughters, Margaret of Portland, Ore., and Maretta of Boise, Idaho. Kermit, Margaret and Maretta were unable to get here for the funeral. Mr. HEINISCH had made his home in Kellerton for the past twenty years, were he reared his family and educated them. Mr. and Mrs. HEINISCH united with the Christian church in 1912. Before he passed away he left a testimony of his preparedness to go and be with his Lord. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, six children, three grandchildren, an aged mother, four brothers and one sister besides a host of relatives and friends. His last sickness was of a duration of three years. During this time he had been in thehospital several times. Everything for his relief and comfort was done by his faithful wife and family and the end came peacefully.

The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Christian church, conducted by Mrs. Noah MOSIER, assisted by the pastor, Rev. W. H. GRIFFIN, and burial was made in the Oakland [(a.k.a. Saltzman)] cemetery.

NOTE: Josephine (JAGGER) HEINISCH, daughter of Silas & Eleanor (BROWN) JAGGER, was born March 22, 1873 in Ringgold County, Iowa, and died on August 7, 1962, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa. Gustav and Josephine's children were:

1) Gustav Otto "Gus" HEINSCH (1900-1969)
2) Margaret Ellen HEINISCH (1902-1975)
3) Cletus Francis HEINISCH (1904-1964)
4) Kermit Benjamin HEINISCH (1906-1939)
5) Marietta Josephine HEINISCH (1908-2000)
6) Hubert Christian HEINISCH (1909-1914)
7) Howard Leonard HEINISCH (1913-1978)
