OBITUARY ~ MRS. WILLIAM FUGATE

Mrs. William (Gertrude Evangaline) FUGATE, of Edgerton, Wis., 75, former Webster City resident, died Thursday at the Edgerton Memorial Hospital. Gertrude E. O'BRYAN, daughter of Francis and Wilhermina SCHIEFELBUSCH O'BRYAN, was born April 15, 1905, at Elston (sic), Iowa, where she was reared and educated.

She was married March 10, 1926 to William Walter FUGATE, and then they resided in Webster City until when they moved to Janesville, Wisc.

In 1970, the family moved to Riverton [WI], where she was preceded in death by her husband April 24, 1979.

She is survived by seven sons and daughters, Earl, Leo and Paul FUGATE, all of Janesville; William FUGATE of Edgerton, Roy FUGATE, Hot Springs, Ark., Bernard FUGATE of Baraboo, Wis., Patrick FUGATE of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Anthony (Donella) NARMI, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Martin (Frances) LUNDVALL, LaPorte City, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Carol) KURLAND, Lake Beneva, Wis., Mrs. William (Pauline) STUBBS, Mrs. ard (Beatrice) ESSEX and Miss Ruth FUGATE, and Mrs. Al (Rita) SIPKER, all of Des Moines.

Also surviving are 58 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and one brother Zen O'BRYAN of Hot Springs, S.D.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church at Edgerton.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thoma Aquinas Catholic church with Father Joseph [illegile]VAN officiating and with burial in Calvary cemetery [Webster City, Iowa].

Rosary will be 8 p.m. Sunday at the Foster Funeral home. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
