Obituary

Mary A. Jackson, daughter of G. M. and Lizzie Jackson was born April 20th, 1886, near Ellston, Ringgold county, Iowa and passed from this life at her home at Sharpsburg, Taylor county, Iowa, March 22, 1951.

She grew to womanhood in the home of her parents and was united in marriage with Milton G. Faurot, December 19 1906. After living on a farm near Mount Ayr and Ellston for a time, they moved to Sharpsburg where she has resided with her husband ever since.

She has been an active member of the Methodist church and faithful in its service ever since early girlhood. She was also interested in the helping of other civic groups.

Not having any children, two orphaned nephews, James and Calvin Faurot, were taken into their home as foster sons and with her husband, are left to mourn her passing.

There remains one sister, Mrs. Guy L. Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, R. Paul Jackson of Ellston, Iowa and Guy M. Jackson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Those who knew Mary know of her life and friendship better than words can tell.
