OBITUARY - MARGARET L. GEBHARDT

1913 2001

Services for Margaret GEBHARDT, 88, Bonner Springs, were July 23, at Zion United Church of Christ, Kansas City, Kan. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Gebhardt died Tuesday, July 17 [2001], at Providence Place.

Margaret was born May 6, 1913 in Redding, Iowa. She worked for 29 years at the Wyandotte County Courthouse in the Appraiser's Office, Register of Deeds Office, and the Election Commissioner's Office. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ. She was a Silverhaired Legislator. She had been a member and former president of the PTA, at Welborn and Bonner Springs, the BPW, Wyandotte County Citizens, the SW Democratic Club and many other civic organizations.

She is preceded in death by one son, George Jerry GEBHARDT.

Survivors include her husband, George J. GEBHARDT, Bonner Springs; one son, Larry GEBHARDT, Overland Park; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials, in lieu of flowers to Zion United Church of Christ.
