OBITUARY - THOMAS ALLISON FOUSER

Thomas Allison Fouser, son of Seward and Luella Fouser, was born Feb. 27, 1903, near Pawnee, Okla., and departed this life July 1, 1966, in his home in Liberty township, Ringgold county, Iowa, at the age of 63 years, four months and one day.

On April 17, 1927, he was united in marriage with Cleo Adams, and of this union were born two children -- John Paul, who died at the age of two years, and Bertha Jane Allen, of Davenport.

A kind and loving husband and father and a respected and cherished member of the community, he will be mourned by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Emily Weise, and his son.

Left to mourn his passing are his widow; daughter; two sisters, Audrey Austin of Marshalltown, and Laura Turner, of Fresno, Calif.; one brother, John, of Ellston; a niece; one nephew, many other relatives and a host of neighbors and friends.

Funeral services were held July 5, from the Rhoades Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Nichols. Mrs. Jim Jones and Mrs. Leo Morgan sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder", accompanied by Margaret Pence, organist. Casketbearers were Harvey Lamb, Harold Kilgore, Rex Beede, and Kenneth Reed, Keith Wood and Ray Everling, and honorary casketbearers were Frank Longcoy, Wayne Benson, Vern Banner and Clarence Wood.

Interment was in the Ellston Cemetery.
