OBITUARY - MRS. EMMA FORD

Emma CAMPBELL, daughter of Enoch and Sally CAMPBELL, was born in Indiana, December 5, 1864, and lived to be 77 years and 11 months old.

She moved, when eight years of age, with her parents, to Taylor County, Iowa, where she resided nearly all of her remaining years.

She united in membership at an early age with the Baptist Church at Mr. Zion rural church, northwest of Athelstan, and later transferred her membership to the Blockton Christian Church where she remained a loyal worker until health prevented.

In 1883 she was united in marriage to Amos H. Ford. To this union were born three sons, R[obert] O[rr] of Blockton, H. Ward of St. Joseph, Mo., Wayne D. of Mt. Vernon, Wash.

Mrs. FORD leaves to mourn her passing, the three sons and their wives; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie ADAMS, of Ellston, Iowa, and Mrs. Florence MAXFIELD, of Boise, Idaho, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Christian Church in Blockton by Rev. E. B. STEWART. Burial was made in the Blockton cemetery.
