MARLIN FOGLE DIES - New Jersey

Marlin E. FOGLE, 82, of West Orange, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, September 3, 1989, at his son's home in Mountain Lakes, Missouri. He was a former resident of Diagonal.

He was born July 26, 1907, in Diagonal, the son of Frank and Marie (ZARUBA) FOGLE. On June 1, 1931, he married Dorothy GRAHAM in Cedar Bluffs. She preceded him in death on June 23, 1988.

Mr. FOGLE was an electrical engineer, and founder of Q.U.S. Inc. where he worked for 40 years, retiring 10 years ago.

He received his masters degree from the University of Iowa and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. He was a past president of the New Jersey Industrial Chamber of Commerce, and was awarded the Iowa Governors Award in 1979 in Diagonal for his donations to sewer and school projects.

Mr. FOGLE is survived by two sons, Stephen FOGLE of Mountain Lakes, N.J., and Frederic FOGLE of Mendham, N.J.; a daughter, Karen RUSSELL of Hackettstown, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the United Church of Diagonal with the Rev. Eydie STEPHENS officiating. Burial was at the Bohemian Cemetery near Diagonal with the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home of Diagonal in charge of the arrangements.
