OBITUARY ~ PATRICIA LOUISE (BRADY) KIRKMAN CLARK
May 22, 1932 ~ July 17, 2013

Patricia Louise CLARK, only child of Albert & Edith (WAHL) BRADY, was born May 22, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Patricia graduated from East High in Des Moines and went to college in Washington and Missouri. Patricia married Ray KIRKMAN and later Leonard CLARK, both whom preceded her in death.

Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She would go without in order to provide for her children. She had a deep faith and God was important in her life. Her life was a reflection of her faith and it showed. Patricia lived in Tacoma, Washington for several years. The Tacoma newspaper featured an article on her that highlighted her 17+ years as a Salvation Army volunteer bell ringer. Patricia loved people, and in return, she was loved by everyone.

Patricia had lived in Grand River, Iowa and Mount Ayr in the recent years, and due to her health declining in her final days, she was cared for in the home of her daughter, Peggy JOHNSON.

Patricia passed away on the evening of July 17, 2013.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Peggy JOHNSON of Mount Ayr, Ray (Linda) KIRKMAN and Sharon (Mack) McDONALD of Des Moines, Leonard CLARK and Dwayne CLARK of Mount Ayr, and Douglas CLARK of Villisca, IA; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A memorial has been established in her name.

Services were conducted at Watson-Armstrong Funeral home in Mount Ayr on Sunday, July 21, 2013, with Rev. Terry ROBERTS officiating. Musical selection was "Amazing Grace."

Honorary pallbearers were Brian JOHNSON, Chris KIRKMAN, Tyra McDONALD, Zack GUTHERMAN, Leon AVILA and J. R. SINCLAIR.
