OBITUARY - MARGARETT A. WILLIAMS DEHART

Margarett A. WILLIAMS, daughter of Richard and Mary WILLIAMS, was born October 4, 1843 and died at her home north of Allendale, April 9, 1926, being at the time of her death 84 years, 6 months and 25 days old.

She was married to George A. DEHART March 13, 1864. To this union eight children were born: George A., Benge, Wash.; John P., Richard Roy, and Bert L. of Allendale [MO]; Edward C., of St. Joseph [MO]; Rosa MARSH, Des Moines, two children dying in infancy. She also leaves to mourn, 29 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 sisters: Mrs. Jennie MILLER, Allendale; Mrs. Ellen YOUNG and Mrs. Emma CAMPBELL, Grant City [MO]; Mrs. Sophia HAYES, Joplin [MO]; Rosa LAW, Oklahoma. Her husband preceded her in death May 28, 1925.

Aunt Lina and Uncle George, as they were familiarly called, had resided continously on the home place. She had been in feeble health for several years. her last sickness being of short duration. The funeral services were held from the home Monday, conducted by Rev. A. S. OLSEN. A large congregation of relatives and neighbors were present at the funeral.

Mrs. Hazel DAVIS, Mrs. Lee MENDENHALL, Mrs. Virgie SISK, Otto McCLAIN, Hallard MENDENHALL, sang: What a Friend We Have in Jesus, God Will Take Care of You, and Oh, Think of the Home Over There. The pall bearers were Virgil COLE, Merl JAMES, Floyd COMBS, Tonnie GREGG, Ben and Wayne DEHART.
