OBITUARY - MEDORA LEAH LANDES DAY

Medora Leah LANDES, daughter of John F. and Frances Isabell LANDES, was born near Grand River September 1, 1884 and departed this life at the home in Grand River, February 3, 1959 at the age of 74 years, five months and two days.

She was united in marriage to Warren DAY on March 1, 1908. To this union was born four daughters, Dale, Frances and Margery of Grand River and Alice of Des Moines.

At an early age she united with the Methodist church of Grand River and was active in the church as long as her health permitted.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, four daughters, four sons-in-law, five grandchildren, James and William GILREATH, Donald HARVARD, George and Jane SEGO, also one sister Mrs. Stella REASONER of Beaconsfield, one brother Harry LANDES of Leon and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nellie LANDES, besides a host of relatives and friends.

She was a kind and devoted wife and mother. Her main interest being her home and family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

We wish to express our sincere thanks for the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy shown to us during the illness and death of our beloved wife and mother. Your helpfulness at this time will never be forgotten by the Warren DAY family.
