OBITUARY - PATRICIA DOYN (JACOBS) DAVIDSHOFER

Patricia Doyn JACOBS was born June 3, 1960 to Carl and Doyn JACOBS at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mr. Ayr, Iowa. She was raised on the family farm southwest of Worth, Missouri. She attended Worth County R-III School, Kindergarten through 12th grade.

She attended Northwest Missouri State University where she received a B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation, a B.S. degree in Physical Education with a minor in Spanish and a Master's Degree in Education. She was a Christian and a member of the Gentry Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Jeff DAVIDSHOFER on June 20th, 1981. They were blessed with two sons Shaun and Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her father Carl JACOBS, her paternal grandparents Harrison and Mava JACOBS and her maternal grandparents Charles and Ethel MUNTZ.

She is survived by her husband Jeff of the home, sons Shaun of Winona, Minnesota and Brandon of Clarinda, Iowa, her mother Doyn JACOBS of Worth, Missouri, her sisters, Carolyn TRAUNERNICHT of Whitesville, Missouri, Kathy ADWELL, Worth, Missouri, and Carla FISHER of Stanberry, Missouri. She also leaves a granddaughter Tay Lynn of Winona, Minnesota, ten nieces and nephews, four and a half great-nieces and nephews and a brother-inlaw Aaron and his wife Karen. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in care of the Andrews Funeral Home, Grant City, Missouri.

Visitation was held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Gentry Baptist Church, Gentry, Missouri followed by Graveside Services and interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Union Star, Missouri. Rev. Darrell TREAT officiated. Arrangements were under direction of Andrews Funeral Home, Grant City, Missouri.
