Carl CREVELING was born at Lamoni, Iowa, May 20, 1890, and departed this life at his home near Ellston, Friday afternoon, October 6 [1933], aged 43 years, four months and 17 days.

In his early manhood days he moved with his parents from Lamoni to Diagonal, Iowa, then here in 1913.

He was united in marriage to Mary Francis TOMAN. To this union were born eight children preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his going four sons and one daughter - Elvyn, Lawrence, Marian, Helen and Kenneth, all at home. Besides his sons and daughter he leaves to mourn his mother, Mrs. SNODGRASS; three brothers and one sister, Ivan, Floyd, and Vern of Ellston, and Mrs. F. W. MARTIN, of Kansas City, besides a community of loved ones and friends.

Carl was always interested in the welfare of his home and loved ones and was willing to put forth all his efforts to help make his community a better place for his home and loved ones to live. Last winter in our revival services he dedicated his heart and soul anew to the kingdon of Jesus Christ and passes away in this faith, happy in the service of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Ellston church, conducted by Rev. L. G. WOLFE. Interment made in the Ellston cemetery.
