NORMAN CODDINGTON,
FORMER RESIDENT,
DIES in MINNESOTA

Herman (sic) CODDINGTON, Cambria, Minn., formerly of Jamestown, died recently at his home there, according to word received here.

Rev. Lee STATE, son-in-law of the deceased, was in charge of the services at Cambria. Burial took place at Clarion, Iowa [Evergreen Cemetery].

Mr. CODDINGTON was born in [Diagonal] Iowa December 1, 1872. The family lived on a homestead in Roundtop township, Stutsman county, for many years. They went from here to Iowa. They lived in Clarion, Iowa, until two years ago when they moved to Cambria to be with their daughter, Mrs. STATE, and family. They celebrated their golden wedding three years ago.

Surviving are the widow, three daughters and a son. One daughter preceded her father in death.

NOTE: Minnetta Maud (WILLIAMS) CODDINGTON was born November 23, 1876, Port Byron, Rock Island County, Illinois, and died March 10, 1953, Appleton, Swift County, Minnesota. Minnetta and her family with parents Wesley Robinson and Lucy Ann (METZGER) WILLIAMS came to Iowa when she was eight-years-old. Norman Grant and Minnetta Maud (WILLIAMS) CODDINGTON were the parents of five children: Lena Masola (CODDINGTON) TILTON, Julia Sylvia , Celia N., Estella Ruth, and Lyle Williams CODDINGTON.
