There's an open gate at the end of the road
through which each must go alone.
And therein a light we cannot see,
our Father claims his own.
Beyond the gate our loved one finds
happines of rest.
And there is comfort in the thought
that a loving God knows best.

Funeral services were held December 7, 1986 from the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home at Mount Ayr, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Doris KINTON. Music was provided by Mrs. Robert THOMAS and Mrs. Ronald SHIELDS.

Casketbearers were Robert HUEY, Robert FISHER, Ronald SHIELDS, Donald DAILEY, Harold HUMBERT and Jerry PRITCHETT.
