OBITUARY - NANCY JANE FLUHARTY.

Nancy Jane BENNETT was born in Indiana May 22, 1846. On February 27, 1865, she was married to Bennett FLUHARTY. Twelve children were born to the, five of whom survive their parents - Mrs. Lizzie DUFFIELD of Padroni, Colo.; Mrs. Geo. MINNICK of Mount Ayr, Iowa; Charlie FLUHARTY of Hanibal, Mo.; W. H. FLUHARTY, of Padroni, Colo., and O. J. FLUHARTY of Kellerton, Iowa. The husband and father passed away in 1918. One brother of Mrs. FLUHARTY is living; also fourteen grandchildren and five great-greatgrandchildren.

The family has lived in Iowa for the past fifty years and for the past thirty years in Ringgold county.

Mrs. FLUHARTY was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps and of the Church of Christ, having became a christian about thirty-five years ago. She was a faithful member. She loved the church and when able to go was always in her place.

She was very kind and patient during her long period of suffering. Her life came to an end at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George MINNICK, September 12, 1925, at the age of 79 years, three months and twenty-one days.

Funeral services were held yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon at the Mount Ayr Church of Christ, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ross WILLIAMS, and the interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery [Mount Ayr].

We wish to express our heart-felt thanks to all our neighbors and friends for the many acts of kindness and sympathy shown us during the illness and death of our dear mother.

NOTE: Bennett FLUHARTY, husband of Nancy Jane (BENNETT), was born on August 14, 1841, and died February 17, 1918 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa.
