Swanks shown on Tonight Show
Two Ringgold county residents had a brief appearance on the
Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday, Dec. 2. Movie star Hillary SWANK was making an appearance on the show, talking
about an international incident, raising chickens, a method of riding a bicycle while running the dogs as well as
a promotion for New Years Eve, her lastest movie. During the story about the "Springer," the invention that allows a
person to ride their bicycle with their dogs running beside, a clip was shown of SWANK that was filmed by her father.
The camera panned to the seats in the audience where Steve SWANK and his wife Sue were sitting. Steve and Sue SWANK
own the former Catholic Church in Maloy, which is now a residence.
